Week 4 Leaders Notes

Please start week #4 with a discussion of the prayer experience. Give your group a chance to talk about what they learned about prayer, and how they have grown. By now, you should have identified a few people from your group who are potential leaders. Consider delegating the leading of the group prayer time to them. They can use some of the techniques they learned at the prayer experience, or ask each person what they need prayer for in their life.

Week #4 is where the written material gets much more personal. Make use of your established text or communication thread to ask your group how they are doing during the week. Some of the people in your group may struggle with this topic.

By now, you should have chosen a Serve Experience. Please make sure everyone in your group has all the necessary details. If you have not yet found something, we have posted a list of several serve opportunities on the Experiences page.

If you are leading a co-ed group, you will need male and female facilitators for week five. Plan to choose these facilitators, and make sure they know what is expected of them by week four. There are details about how to facilitate the strongholds discussion in the Week 5 Leaders Notes.
