Week 2 Leaders Notes
You made it to week #2… Great work kicking off your group! Please continue to pray for each person in your group by name each day.
The week #2 material can seem elementary to experienced Christians. Tell those “experienced” Christians, that they may be wondering if Rooted is for them, that “Rooted is a 10 Week Discipleship Experience That Causes Life Change” - and the life change may be their’s or it may be a life they will change because of the encouragement and challenge they receive in Rooted.
Encourage your group to begin listening to the leading of Holy Spirit for what they need to learn. If the person and work of the Holy Spirit is a new concept to you, please see pages 85 and 86 of the Facilitators Guide for a great study on the Holy Spirit. This is also a good study to recommend to your group if you need to skip a week during the semester.
Please discuss the Prayer Experience that will take place on campus from 8:45am - 12:00noon, on the date listed here. We have published several resources on the Prayer Experience. Please review these materials before you meet for week #2. Please ask everyone to plan to fast before the Prayer Experience.

Please send this link to your group members this week. Note that most of the content in this website is for facilitators not Rooted group members, There are a few exceptions. We create these participant pages without links to the other portions of this site in the headers and footers.
Week 2 Leaders Training Video:
There is a training video at the bottom of each Week #X Leaders Notes. They give you some great advice for leading each session. These videos are just for facilitators. Please do not forward these videos to your group members. These videos were produced by the national Rooted organization. Some contain references to aspects of Rooted that we do not use at Pantano. If something in the video conflicts with the leaders notes above it, please follow the notes above it
